The School of Marxism Studies of Zhejiang Normal University is one of the first batch of prioritized institutions in Zhejiang Province's higher education system for Marxism theoretical development, featuring academic distinctions such as Zhejiang’s first-class discipline Category A, national first - class programs.

Furthermore, the School undertakes a major commissioned project by the the General Office of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and the General Office of the State Council on “Xi Jinping’s Important Discourse on Common Prosperity: Exploration and Practice in Zhejiang,” and has organized two speeches as part of “Hundred Lectures on Core Socialist Values”.
