On the evening of March 17, the Symposium on Ideological and Political Education Professional Development and Practice Mentor Appointment Ceremony was held in Room 102, Building 3 of Zhengyang Complex.
The event was attended by distinguished guests including Wang Guofang and Wu Dongxing, teaching researchers from Zhejiang Provincial Education Department's Teaching Research Office, educational researchers from various regional bureaus across the province, senior secondary school teachers and principals, along with representatives from our college: Wang Kun, Dean of the School of Marxism; Lin Zisai, Vice Dean; Zheng Haixiang, Member of the Party Committee of the CPC; Zhang Xiaochen, Head of the Political Education Department; Jin Baiyan, Deputy Head of the Political Education Department; and faculty representatives. The meeting was chaired by Vice Dean Jiang Yufeng.
Dean Wang Kun extended a warm welcome to the experts and introduced the college's profile, professional development, and teaching practices in ideological and political theory courses. Subsequently, college leadership and department heads presented appointment letters to over twenty experts as practice mentors.
The symposium focused on two key themes: “Talent Cultivation Program for Ideological and Political Education Majors” and “Opportunities, Challenges, and Strategies for High-Quality Development of Ideological and Political Education in the AI Era”.
This constructive dialogue holds significant importance for strengthening and improving the construction of our ideological and political education program. The college will seize this opportunity to comprehensively enhance professional development standards and talent cultivation quality, striving to cultivate high-caliber ideological and political education professionals equipped to meet future demands.
