On March 27, a delegation from the School of Marxism at Zhejiang Normal University, including Vice Dean Lin Zisai, Head of the Political Education Department Zhang Xiaochen, and Director of the Student Affairs Office and Alumni Liaison Chen Chaochao, visited Pinghu High School to conduct an alumni symposium. Attendees included Lu Zhilong, a Special-grade Political Education Teacher at Pinghu High School, Vice Principal Lu Qiujie, as well as faculty and alumni representatives.
The event aimed to optimize talent cultivation models and enhance graduates' comprehensive qualities and employment competitiveness. Faculty members conducted a comprehensive survey to gather feedback from employers on the quality of university talent development, alongside an alumni satisfaction survey. Alumni representatives reflected on their academic experiences at Zhejiang Normal University, noting that their professors not only imparted knowledge but also provided invaluable guidance on personal conduct, career planning, and professional growth.
The symposium further discussed strategies to refine the Political Education curriculum in line with evolving trends in ideological and political education in the new era. Emphasis was placed on cultivating students' critical thinking, innovative capabilities, and communication skills to better adapt to the changing educational landscape. Both parties agreed on the need to strengthen the professional competence of political education graduates, ensuring their readiness to meet future educational challenges.
