China Jiliang University Modern Science and Technology College School of Marxism Visited Our College for Academic Exchange

On the afternoon of April 2, a delegation from the School of Marxism at China Jiliang University Modern Science and Technology College visited our college for a symposium and exchange. The delegation included Xu Liu, Deputy Party Secretary of the Modern Science and Technology College; Hu Yunan, Dean of the School of Marxism; Professor Gong Zhengrong; Wang Tao, Assistant Dean; Li Yu, Office Director; and Huo Longwei, a faculty member in ideological and political education. Representatives from our college attending the meeting included Dean Wang Kun, Vice Deans Lin Zisai and Jiang Yufeng, Professor Zheng Qing, Associate Professor Bao Jiangquan, and Ying Yaxuan, Deputy Office Director.  

At the symposium, Dean Wang Kun warmly welcomed the visiting colleagues and provided a comprehensive overview of the phased achievements our college has made in recent years in disciplinary and degree program development. He emphasized innovative practices in discipline construction and faculty cultivation, proposing that discipline development should serve as the driving force, fostering a trinity collaborative model integrating 'discipline-major-curriculum' to build a virtuous 'teaching-research-social service' ecosystem. Vice Dean Lin Zisai delivered a presentation on strategies for cultivating and applying for research projects, while Vice Dean Jiang Yufeng shared experiences in developing exemplary curriculum-based ideological and political education courses and innovating practical teaching systems.  

During the discussion session, the two sides engaged in in-depth dialogue on key issues related to advancing Marxist education in the new era. Topics included young faculty academic advancement programs, mechanisms for incubating high-level teaching and research achievements, and cross-institutional collaboration platforms. Dean Hu Yunan praised our college's notable progress in discipline construction and expressed intent to adopt the philosophy of promoting teaching through research and fostering mutual enhancement between teaching and research to improve talent development quality.  

The exchange facilitated mutual understanding and shared insights between the two institutions. Multiple collaborative intentions were reached, including faculty exchange programs, sharing of high-quality curriculum resources, and joint research project applications. This marks a substantive step forward in cooperation, laying a solid foundation for advancing the connotative development of Marxist education in the new era.
